The story has matured since the first volume, settling into a cosy, slice of life romance story with believable and engaging conflicts, without ever being too stressful or outlandish. Natori and Asako’s relationship is endearing and sweet, simultaneously portraying the life-changing and awkward properties of a good romantic relationship. It’s clear that their relationship allows both characters to grow and become better versions of themselves—which is what anyone should want out of a romantic relationship.
