Pizza Dough

A simple dough recipe you can start in the morning and let set all day. Depending on how the dough is handled, it will either be very stretchy or very tough. Either way it tastes great. Makes enough for 2 thin crust medium pizzas (about 12").
Ingredients
- 1 cup of lukewarm water
- 1 packet of active dry yeast (2¼ teaspoons)
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- 2 cups of multigrain flour
- A sprinkle of sea salt
- A few splashes of olive oil
- A sprinkle of oregano
Directions
- Combine water, honey and yeast in a large bowl.
- Store in a cool, dry place and let rise for around 9 minutes.
- Add salt, flour, oregano, and some of the olive oil.
- Combine with hands until mixture is doughy and sticks together without noticeable lumps—do not knead or handle for too long.
- Grease a bowl with olive oil and add the dough, greasing it in oil as well.
- Cover with a cloth, and allow to sit overnight, or for at least 4 hours, until dough has risen.
Notes
Can be frozen or stored in fridge until use, but best if used immediately. Roll out on a flat surface and stretch by hand until desired shape is achieved. Then add toppings. Goes great with my Pizza Sauce.
