A surprisingly sweet and funny manga, while at the same time tastefully sexy and spicy. The first volume’s introductory chapter is rough, seeing as it glorifies sexual-violence-as-romance. The story matures by the second volume, settling into a cozy, slice of life romance story with believable and engaging conflicts, without ever being too stressful or outlandish. Natori and Asako’s relationship is endearing and sweet, simultaneously portraying the life-changing and awkward properties of a good romantic relationship. It’s clear that their relationship allows both characters to grow and become better versions of themselves—which is what anyone should want out of a romantic relationship.
